Long Term Goals and Aspirations

Career Aspirations:

Director / actor / cinematographer / writer. Overall i would like to experiment in different rolls to find my favorite.

Long-Term Goals:

When i leave college i would like to leave with the highest grade possible for film production as well as qualifications from outside of college such as the BFI’s introduction to the film industry qualification, driving license, climbing instructors license and paddy instructors license as well as a first aid certificate. as these would all help me in the film industry as my plan is to start as a runner in a few shoots in order to build up contacts and experience. i would be interested in attending university / film school such as the national film school and met film. the funding for which i would attain through jobs renting a flat and / or a students loan.

medium term goal 1

by the end of this year i would like to have improved upon my choices of shot making them more stylistic and engaging to watch.

by christmas i would like to have shot a short film with the BFI as a director writer which can / will be entered into film competitions.

by christmas i would like to have finished the 1st draft of my script and had it reviewed by friends.

medium term goal 2

by the end of the year i would like to have gained either a climbing instructors license or first aid certificate.

by the end of the second term i would like to have learnt how to color correct videos effectively in order to portray certain emotions .

by the end of the term i would like to have found a personal pattern in music types and film genre.
