Acting Games for Charecterisation

1: Present the actor(s) with the same monologue then provide them with a character profile such as age, gender, name, hobbies, physicality, personality, worst fears, facial features etc… After you have given the actor 5 minutes with the texts they should then perform the monologue to a blind audience then a death audience so prevent reliability on either physicality or dialogue. This game is designed to help with the actors diversity and helps them avoid falling into stereotypes.

2: Hot seating where the actor sits before a panel and is interviewed as there character in order to help them discover there own character and develop a more powerful creative character ingenuity.

3: Bus stop is were three chair are set up the first actor goes up and treats it like a bus stop then every-time a character enters the scene the scene changes.
